In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and is awesome for sure.
The first video is my for real mailbox. I did leave some books out because I just bought a ton, but maybe I'll add them into a slower week. The second video features 3 extra books that I went on rants about. I have a laughing fit and here are a few things you can expect in the outtakes video:
1) Cheeseburger of pain
2) Butterfly book covers
3) Gymnastics in one of the Jurassic Park movies
Intrigued yet?

Thanks so much everyone! What did you get in your mailbox this week? Let me know in the comments :)
"What is the use of a book, without pictures or conversations?" 'Alice in Wonderland' -Lewis Carroll. We are here to go on a literary journey. There will be ups and downs in life, but there will always be books (they may all turn digital, but they will still be there). Join me as I head into Bookland--I may never surface again.

Love the outtakes vid! I wish all IMM vlogs had them. Hysterical :) And I so wish I had a library sale at my local library. Although I think it might be too dangerous...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read Legacy. Love NetGalley! (Refuse to comment further about vlog one. But it wasn't too long.)
But hahaha, thanks for sharing the PH book. It would have been funny if the peek into her life only involved pictures, as if there were just no words...
@Fiktshun
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I always end up saying weird things and making stupid faces during my vlogs. Yeah, my library has a sale every May and October. It is dangerous. I think I bought 18 books this time and 10 last time.
Netgalley is amazing! Legacy looked good, so I'm excited for that.
I don't think there are words to describe Paris Hilton's life haha. But, I do generally love author books. My mom barely let me put that book in our bag. She was like, "I don't want to be seen with you right now." I laughed for about 100 years standing at the table holding it.
Loved this Vlog! You have such a hilarious sense of humor and kind of remind me of my best friend from middle school. Weird! Anyway, it looks like you got some great books. I love library sales or just book sales in general. The part about the cheeseburger of pain is just lovely! :)
ReplyDelete@Jessi E. (The Elliott Review)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Book sales are my weakness haha. Like, I get where the cheeseburger of pain reference is coming from and what it is trying to represent, but... I just can't handle it. So funny!
Awesome week! Enjoy the books :)
ReplyDeleteGreat vlogs! I love book sales!!! Great IMM!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh Calli and Legacy both look great. And I love outakes anytime!!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't watch your video...but still, awesome books you got this week! I also have Legacy but haven't read it.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!!
Great books!
ReplyDelete@Just Your Typical Book Blog
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm sure I will. So many books, so little time!
@Mundie Moms
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you. Book sales rock. I think all book bloggers love (and their wallets hate) them.
@Book Sake
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that NetGalley had both Calli and Legacy. Very excited to read them. I'm probably going to have a whole pile of outtakes soon. Be on the look out for some book blogs/book to movie reaction videos with a friend of mine. They will be insane.
@GABY
ReplyDeleteI know not everyone will want to/can watch the videos, so I like to list them as well! Thanks :) I'll be looking for your thoughts on Legacy once you read it!
@Maestra Amanda
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm excited to read them :)
