Disney and The Hunger Games

Okay, so I know I haven't made many real posts lately and I am sorry about that. I don't want to make excuses, but I do want to share this video with you! Brilliant.

Stick with me, please! I'll be back soon. I haven't even read a book this year yet. Eek.

Potter Rock Anthem [LMFAO Parody]

Hahahaha. This is a pretty good one. Enjoy!

Hunger Games 411-Tributes

Hi guys! I thought I would just make a quick video outlining The Hunger Games and the tributes in the Hunger Games. I'll make other videos about the other characters in the book/movie later! Although most of you have read the books, I thought it might be a nice refresher since there are 24 tributes. I stayed mostly spoiler free, so this should be safe for those of you who haven't read the books as well. Enjoy!

Harry Potter and Hunger Games MASH!

I know I told you guys that I would post the results to mine and Becky's Harry Potter MASH game a long time ago, but I totally forgot. So, since we started a new YouTube channel, I thought it was the perfect time to remedy that. I've also included a template for Hunger Games MASH so we can all play for that premiere! I would absolutely love to see your results if you end up playing.

Hunger Games MASH categories:

• Husband/Wife
• Home
• District
• Job
• Skill in the Games
• Way of Death
• Costume
• Mentor
• Stylist
• Ally

Let me know if you end up playing!

Analysis: The Hunger Games Official Trailer

Okay, so I know everyone and their mother is talking about this, but... I just have to! So if you haven't seen it...watch. I'll wait.

Done? Wow. Just let it soak in there. Here we go...

• District 12 looks legit. A little bit green, but nice and run down.
• The Capitol hovercraft. Does this mean we'll get to see Avox girl even though we only heard about it after in the books?
• I kind of enjoy how all of the kids are dressed in a similar color palette.
• Effie! I love you. I love how desperate you look and your voice, your voice is brilliant.
• Katniss and Prim together. Breaks my heart.
• Effie swirling her hand around to choose the slip of paper. Amazing.
• When Katniss volunteers for Prim and her voice cracks on the first declaration. I die.
• Gale carrying Prim away. I enjoy this little girl. She's good.
• Peeta just looks so depressed at the Reaping. And we all know why (no, it's not only because he was just called to his death).
• Cinna. I thought I would hate you. I actually kind of dig you. Good on you.
• hahaha oh Caesar. I can't wait to see more of you.
• Oh hey tiny people on fire in the viewfinder. I wonder who you are.
• Rue. You're just so....tiny.
• I see you, Cato.
• Senaca Crane! Nice facial hair, dude. You're what the Capitol is all about.
• Haymitch, even though you have kind of stupid hair. You're mine. I can't wait to see the parts of the movie where you are a bit more drunk.
• You shoot that arrow, Katniss.
• Katniss and Peeta's talk. <3 Josh, I believed in you all along.
• I'll miss you, Madge, but I like Prim giving Katniss the Mockingjay.
• THE SALUTE. *dies*
• This countdown. So intense.
• All of the people standing in the square watching the games. Could you imagine that?
• Action! Action! Run! Backpack! Ahhhh!

You guys. I'm in love. Please, please share your thoughts! I want to discuss. Right now.

Snow White and the Huntsman Teaser Trailer

Finals are approaching, so I'll be sharing more videos with you guys than I normally do. So sorry.

You guys! "Snow White and the Huntsman" looks incredibly badass. The voiceover gives me chills every time I hear it.

What do you guys think? I'm excited that this seems to be a darker take on Snow White. I'm definitely preferring this version over the other Snow White that is in the works. Although, as beautiful as I think Kristen Stewart is (and I really, really do), are we supposed to believe that she is more beautiful than Charlize? Meh. I just watched it again. Gosh! That voiceover. Chills. Every. Single. Time.

Now I'm going to do a bit of shameless promotion here. My friends Briana, Becky and myself have started a new little YouTube project. If you all would check it out, it would be amazing! We don't have too much done now, but we're all really excited about it. Many, many more vlogs. You can find us on YouTube, on Twitter @thehashtag3 and on Tumblr. Thanks a billion and let me know what you think!

Thoughts on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

This would have been up last night, but YouTube was being a jerk. All in all, we LOVED "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2." There were some things changed from the book, but this was a really great adaptation. My favorite HP movie by far. This video is mine and Becky's reaction when we got home from the theater around 2:40AM.
SPOILERS (obviously)

What did YOU think of the movie? Please discuss with me! I'm going out of town and will be suffering from post-Potter depressing. I need to chat about this with people!

The first video is my for real mailbox. I did leave some books out because I just bought a ton, but maybe I'll add them into a slower week. The second video features 3 extra books that I went on rants about. I have a laughing fit and here are a few things you can expect in the outtakes video:

2) Butterfly book covers
3) Gymnastics in one of the Jurassic Park movies
Intrigued yet?
